I know - you're wondering, "What the...?" Well, yesterday I combined two Splitcoast challenges - a sketch challenge and a color challenge - and that's what I ended up with. The colors for the challenge were OLD Olive, BERMUDA Bay, and NIGHT of Navy (or MidNIGHT Muse). And here's the sketch:
I made a birthday card for Greg, since he had one of those yesterday:
I stamped my Noteblock on white cardstock, heat embossed with detail clear embossing powder, and sponged the three colors over it. I don't have either of the "official" navy blues (yet), so I used two different blues that I DID have to get closer to matching the Midnight Muse cardstock. Afterwards, I trimmed it down, matted it with white and put it on the card. I layered a couple of ribbons to add a little pizzazz.
