The weather here has been getting considerably warmer. We've been sleeping with the windows open, but it's still been a bit on the warm side. Last night we had a band of terrific thunderstorms blow through (my favorite!), so we had to keep things closed up. Greg thought the air conditioning was a good plan...
ANYway - I've had summer on my mind and it's starting to feel like it's coming. One of our daughters bought her first house, and we've been over there every spare minute for the past few weeks getting it ready for her to move into Memorial weekend. It's a fixer-upper and we built an addition onto the kitchen, as well as re-vamping every single room ("we're building a house inside a house", says Greg).
This morning I canceled an appointment, intending to get an early start over at Angela's (my current work project is in a stall until tomorrow), but blew everything off in favor of a creative diversion. The card above is for the current sketch challenge at Splitcoast Stampers. Pretty much everything I've used on it is retired 'cuz it's so old, but I still love all of it...
Okay - diversion over - time to get busy! Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Hump Day!
