I don't know if this post will make those of you in the frigid northeast feel better or worse, but here's the project du jour:
Springtime in a (mini) pizza box! Today's Free for All challenge was to do one of the tutorials (which I almost never, ever do) and I chose to make a pizza box! I was also inspired to make these little notes. This week's Queen for the Day Kecia (aka Little Sea Otter) has a fantastic gallery with lots of eye candy, but I was particularly smitten with this card:
I'm sure you can see the similarities (and differences) in her version and mine... The tutorial for the pizza box is HERE, and is probably the quickest, easiest project EVER! Pretty darn cute, too, if you ask me... I made a belly band to hold it shut and wrapped lace-edged ribbon and orange ribbon over the band to pretty it up a bit. A die-cut square and a bow top it off. I plan to make envelopes to go with the cards before I send them off to their destination...
