St. Patrick's Day is a-comin', and I felt the need to make something related to it, so when I was looking at this week's Queen for the Day (Shoe Girl, as she's known on Splitcoast, or Lisa, as she's known everywhere else), I looked for a card that could be tweaked that way. I settled on this one:
And re-vamped it like so:
A mix of old and new here: old, old, OLD ribbon and Studio G St. Pat's stamps and frame stamp (Stampin'Up! Around and About), and a new Darice St. Pat's Background embossing folder. I cinched the ancient ribbon with a similarly ancient mini-brad, embossed the frames with gold tinsel embossing powder and the sentiment and shamrocks with detail clear embossing powder, and popped everything on mats colored around the edges with a Bic marker (for lack of cardstock the correct color).
Tonight and tomorrow are dedicated to a Virtual Stamp Night on Splitcoast, with numerous challenges, so I may participate in some (or all) of them, and I have an almost-finished card for this fortnight's Jingle Belles challenge, so I should be putting a few more creations here soon. I've also done a little tweak with some of my dies that I'll be sharing in the near future. Meanwhile, enjoy your weekend, and thanks for stopping by!
